ESP: Entre dos álamos verdes, que forman juntos un arco, por no despertar las aves pasaba callando el Tajo. Juntar los troncos querían los enamorados brazos, pero el envidioso río no deja llegar los ramos. ENG: Between two green poplars, that together form an arch, so as not to wake the birds the Tajo passed quietly. To join the trunks together, the enamored arms, but the envious river does not let the branches arrive.

about

In the antiquated world, the warning, “non plus ultra” (there’s nothing
more beyond), marked the edge of the known world at the Pillars of
Hercules in the Gibraltar Strait. By the time Christopher Colombus
sailed to the Americas, the phrase had changed to “plus ultra”
(there's more beyond). This new phrase is where we get the title for
our program, Más Allá de Hispania. With this expression, we justify the
performance and interpretations of the rich collections of forgotten
and underrepresented Spanish music that existed or survived
outside of Spain.
